3. Top 12 2014/2015 Australian open dog of the year :-)

Merry Christmas!!

Finally we have had some rain, a storm brought 72ml in about an hour 2 days ago, unlucky for dad who is only 10mins around the road only got about half that.

This update includes trials from Dungog, Glencoe and Lismore show.

Dog numbers are currently being amended for Killarney, so might be a shuffle of names when that is complete.

Congratulations to all who have trialled this year and I look forward to keeping you as updated as I can.

10. And the winner of 2013/2014 Australian Open Dog of the Year is.....BEN GOULD AND RIVERSIDE JAKE !!!!!

Congratulations to Ben Gould and his dog Riverside Jake on winning the Australian Open Working Stock Dog of the Year award for 2013/2014.

Ben and Tenielle own Riverside Working dogs, Casino NSW and should be extremely proud of their achievements, as we also are.

Congratulations to all who have traveled far and wide to support many trials and have also made it into the top 12, an amazing achievement also. I might be a little biased, but for Robert and Paul to have 4 and 3 dogs each in the top 10 shows also the solid breeding that is going into our trial dogs also.

With this year already underway for 2014/2015, Ben has already taken a win with Jake at Rappville this weekend just gone, so the competition has begun...good luck to all for the coming year.

I will not post now until mid to late Sept, so happy trialling :-)
Elissa xx

8. 19/6/14 Second June Update including Jambin

Hi,
Seems alot can change overnight. The top twelve shuffle!!

Jambin trial was added to Qld's website after i posted the first June update last night. I have said before i will only update what information is formally available to me at the time on the QLD and NSW websites. I know that Jambin trial had been run but like a previous post where Wiangaree had also been run results hadnt been formally given, so they were not posted either. I hope this explains the overnight change.

Interestingly at Jambin the 3 men on top of the Australian dog of the year points, Ben Gould, Paul Wroe and Robert Johnston all placed at this trial. It is really awesome to see the consistency of not only the individual dogs but also the handlers with their 'teams', you all should be very proud of your efforts. I can see the miles that have been travelled!!

Ulmarra trial is on this weekend, Good luck to all attending and i look forward to keeping you updated with those results,

Cheers,
Liss :-)
